Hi Planet GNOME!

I'm a GSOC student working on system-config-printer making it blend better in the GNOME desktop. s-c-p is mainly the work of Tim Waugh so make sure you buy him a beer when you see him. Oh and buy Ghee Teo one too, he his my mentor. Fine folk.

As you might know Ghee is working on Presto and they have some great UI and interaction documents there that I'm using to guide me on improving s-c-p.

So far I've just implemented printer searching, quite handy for when you are on a network full of them.

I know you want screenshots ;-)





Next up is allowing you to make groups of printers and save searches. Stay tuned!
